Food Exhibition | Ezhou Wuchang Fish Fry Exports to Japan for the First Time: 530,000 High-Quality Fry Successfully Exported

Ezhou City in Hubei Province has recently achieved a new breakthrough in the export of aquatic products. The first batch of 530,000 Wuchang fish fry has been successfully transported to Okinawa Prefecture in Japan. According to the Department of Agriculture and Rural Affairs of Ezhou City, several more batches of fish fry will be exported this year, with an estimated total export volume exceeding 5 million fry for the year. This will significantly enhance the brand influence of Wuchang fish in the international market. The Food Exhibition will offer more information about import and export.

 

 

As a national geographical indication product of China, Wuchang fish is renowned both domestically and internationally for its delicate taste and rich nutritional value. The exported blunt snout bream fry were provided by Hubei Shengfeng Fisheries Co., Ltd., a national-level high-quality aquatic seedling farm. After scientific breeding and strict selection, the fry fully meet the high standards set by the Japanese side regarding survival rates and specifications. "By optimizing the quality of the fry and scientifically controlling the breeding density, we ensure that each fry meets the export standards," said the person in charge of the company. The successful completion of this order marks the recognition of Ezhou's aquatic products in the international market.

 

The Food Exhibition notes that to ensure the safe arrival of the fish fry, the Department of Agriculture and Rural Affairs of Ezhou City provided full guidance to the enterprise in preparing for all aspects of the process. From seedling breeding and quarantine inspection to water quality and temperature control during transportation, every link was strictly implemented in accordance with international standards. A relevant official from the Department of Agriculture and Rural Affairs of Ezhou City pointed out that this export has set an example for the local fishery to expand into the international market. In the future, efforts will continue to be made to build the "Home of Chinese Wuchang Fish" brand and promote more high-quality aquatic products to the world.
