Mrs. Wang graduated from Wageningen University & Research in the Netherlands with a Master's degree in Food Quality Management. She is now working at the China Academy of Inspection and Quarantine Sciences, engaged in the application and promotion of HACCP and the innovation and incubation of high-end quality standards and certification systems for food and agricultural products. Founded in 2004, the China Academy of Inspection and Quarantine Sciences is a central research institution of inspection, testing and quarantine set up by the state for public benefit, formerly known as the Plant Quarantine Laboratory under the Ministry of Agriculture established in 1954 and the China Import and Export Commodity Inspection Technology Institute established in 1979. Its main task is to carry out inspection and quarantine applied research, as well as related basic, high-tech and soft science research, focusing on solving overall, comprehensive, critical, sudden, basic scientific and technological problems in inspection and quarantine. It provides technical support for national inspection and quarantine decision-making, comprehensive market supervision and economic quality development, and offers scientific and technical services for inspection and quarantine science education and social practice training.
